Sri Mannai Mobiles
A full-stack commerce and service platform for an electronics retailer, from storefront to technician dashboard.
Context
Sri Mannai Mobiles sells mobiles and electronics and also runs a repair business covering smartphones, laptops, home appliances and data recovery. Both sides of the business needed to live online in one place.
The challenge
Retail commerce and repair services have different shapes. One needs catalogue, stock, cart and payments; the other needs bookings, job tracking and a technician's view of the queue. The platform had to handle both without feeling like two stapled-together websites.
The decisions
We modelled the store around multi-category browsing with real-time stock tracking, so the site reflects what is actually on the shelf.
Checkout was built for reach: multi-currency support and international shipping alongside Razorpay for domestic payments.
Repairs got their own booking flow with four service types, feeding a technician dashboard where jobs are tracked to completion.
The engineering
React with Redux for state across catalogue, cart and bookings, an Express API over PostgreSQL, Razorpay integration for payments, and Chart.js dashboards for the business owner. Runs on a VPS with Nginx and PM2.
The outcome
The retailer operates its storefront and repair intake through one platform. Customers buy, book repairs and track them online, and the shop manages stock and jobs from a single admin.
